Your comment about "old white-haired women" is deeply offensive. I guess those who say Pro Life Wisconsin cares only about fetuses are right. And that's sad.

The right to abortion is not in the Constitution. In deciding Roe, the Supreme Court created a so-called right to privacy. Further, just because something is legal does not mean it is right; it just means it is legal.

This is why people have trouble taking your movement seriously. Much like the 'blacks' you're looking for attacks in all the wrong places.

I guess it is so intoxicating to be a chairperson of a department, that you can lose sight of your most important mission...protect the lives under your care, set an example for the physicians who work for you, and who you train. Why, one must ask, would so talented a doctor commit herself to killing?
The answer is most likely in the background from which she came....the killing fields fueled by Ken Ryan, MD. She did some of her training as a resident at the BWH in Boston, there everyone was taught that they were heroes if they stood proud and ripped up babies. That culture of death, created a sort of badge of honor for being a honorable killing doctor. This badge was clothed in the lies that women would die a death in an alley without the doctor's help. Though we all know those statistics are not true, what could be the reason for holding on to this killing pride?
This answer I think comes from the pressure within the OB/GYN community. The specialty is outwardly pro-abortion, discriminates against students and physicians who have compassion for life, and rewards those who take the killing position.
I must wonder, is that sweet Laurel now victim of the addicting desire to please and be advanced in career?
Surely, she would see that no promotion or power is worth this killing behavior and example.
She has the potential, with her position and infectious personality, to lead so many to embrace life.
I pray deeply the Lord would touch her heart. God bless you Laurel

This is so sad,
I met Laurel many years ago, before she became a famous doctor. What struck me about her was that she was so kind and seemed to be down to earth. She had a great smile, and though filled with foul language, a nice sense of humor. Now, I see years later she is advocating for the opposite of what that sweet person I thought stood for. I can only think she has no idea what she is really suggesting, on the one hand "caring" for patients as a great doctor, on the other hand, ripping them from the womb. She is educated and knows these babies have hearts. She has children of her own. Pray for her that she would find that sweet part of her that I saw and admired so

I LOVE the caption of "Mary's ultrasound. The ultra, ultra ultrasound, isn't it! The only thing I would hesitate on is the phrase "He's on His way." Not to be too picky, especially about such a novel and beautiful witness to Christ's - and our - humanity, but it seems to encourage popular thinking that an unborn child isn't really "here" until s/he's born.

While sen feingold was in the u.s. Senate, the number of abortions were reduced. He is not pro abortion. I am not sure who is pro abortion. The most critical thing is to prevent unwanted pregnancies. I am constantly amazed at people who are cafeteria Catholics and support those who sponsor capital punishment and are pro war and do not consistently ask that these folks be removed from their faculty positions. Russ feingold is a good man.
